Christopher Wierer is a designer, writer, urbanist, and founder of The Sycamore Collective, a bespoke design studio. He is concerned with the multi-scalar intersection of architecture, society, and the built environment.
He holds degrees in Architecture, Building Science, and STS (Science – Technology & Society) from Columbia University’s GSAPP and Rensselaer. He is currently pursuing a degree in sustainable development at the University of Oxford and divides his time with his family between Los Angeles, New York, and Oxford.

Jhoiey Ramirez, a Creative Director at The Sycamore Collective, is a distinguished multi-disciplinary creative professional. With a passion for pushing creative boundaries, she not only excels in her field but also actively shares her knowledge through mentorship and continually expands her expertise through experimentation and global networking.
She has been appeared on the pages of The Sunday Times Magazine, Angeleno Magazine, and Business Of Home. She holds a Master of Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona/UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas.

Lance Jacky, AIA
EXECUTIVE ARCHITECT
Lance Jacky, AIA is a Los Angeles based architect with over thirty years of experience in the state of California. He has extensive project experience in the commercial, retail, airport, medical laboratory, and residential fields.
He is keenly interested in development & investing and enjoys discovering and nurturing projects that help enhance a company’s bottom line.
A key goal of his centers on designing and building for a cleaner, greener, more self-sustaining future for our environment, our structures and our lives – all based on a rational framework.

Michael Waisome
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Michael Waisome is excited to build upon his career by contributing to the development of a strong business and joining an even stronger team. He has two decades of strategic leadership and business development experience and is known to drive growth and profitability in competitive and dynamic industries. He is passionate about studying new and challenging fields while coming up with solutions.
Prior to joining The Sycamore Collective, Michael worked extensively within the precious metals industry which included key roles such as Vice President of Global Bullion Suppliers and Managing Director of Valcambi, one of the largest precious metals refineries in the world.

Miguel Soltero
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION
Miguel Soltero, Director of Development and Construction at The Sycamore Collective, is a seasoned business leader with a proven track record in construction, development, finance, and private equity syndication. With a keen ability to navigate market trends and adapt to shifting economic landscapes, he brings strategic vision and operational expertise to every project.
With decades of experience in commercial and residential construction both domestically and internationally, Miguel has led the conceptualization and development of two private equity funds, successfully raising over $70 million USD.

Kevin Jagielo

Kevin Jagielo, Director of Construction at the Sycamore Collective, has a long list of accomplishments in the construction and renovation industry. With his vision to transform dreams into reality he founded Apocalyptic Apes Building and Development, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating stunning spaces.
He prides himself on managing teams in bringing innovative designs to life. His work has been featured on platforms such as Netflix and HGTV, showcasing his dedication to craftsmanship and creativity. His teams comprise skilled professionals with years of experience in the field, ensuring that every project is executed with precision and care.

Charles Zeng, LMFT, LPCC, CGP, MA
WELLNESS DIRECTOR
Charles Zeng is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist who specializes in Depth Psychology and LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy.
With the Sycamore Collective, Charles helps in integrating mindfulness and wellness into our homes and everyday spaces. He has been a featured on-air contributor on NPR, has been published in various industry publications, and is a frequent featured lecturer at industry training events.
He is the Co-President of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles and holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, as well as degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Washington. He is currently pursuing an additional masters degree at the University of Oxford.
