    Charles Zeng, LMFT, LPCC, CGP, MA

    WELLNESS DIRECTOR

    Charles Zeng is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist who specializes in Depth Psychology and LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy. He is the Co-President of GPALA (Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles).

    With the Sycamore Collective, Charles helps clients in integrating mindfulness and wellness into our homes and everyday spaces. He has been a featured on-air contributor on NPR, has been published in various industry publications, and is a frequent featured lecturer at industry training events.

    At his private practice in Beverly Hills and Pasadena, CA, Charles sees a diverse population of adults, adolescents, and couples, and facilitates process groups with folks around vulnerability and self-acceptance. With a non-judgmental approach, Charles wants to stay curious in getting to know his clients so that they can feel safe about asking for what they need.

    Currently serving on the Board of Directors of IBCGP, the International Board for Certification of Group Psychotherapists with the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), he also serves as their Co-Chair for the LGBTQIA SIG. He is a Volunteer Supervisor at the non-profit Maple Counseling Center, Beverly Hills, and prior to his Co-Presidency, he served as GPALA’s DEI Chair. Charles holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, as well as an MA from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, and BA and BBA degrees from the University of Washington; he is currently pursuing an additional master’s degree at the University of Oxford.

    Charles works with clients in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
